Overview
Adi Kailash and Om Parvat are not two separate yatras — they are a single, inseparable pilgrimage. The route from Dharchula climbs through the Kali River valley to Gunji, then branches on consecutive days: first to Jolingkong (4,750 M) for darshan of Adi Kailash (5,945 M), the sacred Chhota Kailash that mirrors the Tibetan Kailash; then to Nabhidhang for Om Parvat (6,191 M), where a natural OM symbol (ॐ) is permanently etched in the mountain's snow. Our Dharchula base means you reach the sacred zone faster than any agency based in Haldwani or Pithoragarh. Meals are pure vegetarian; breakfast and dinner provided from Gunji onward. Lunch is not included.
Highlights
- Adi Kailash (5,945 M) at Jolingkong — holy Parvati Sarovar glacial lake, Parvati Temple, Bheem ki Kheti, Gauri Kund, Manokmana Temple
- Om Parvat (6,191 M) from Nabhidhang — natural OM symbol in eternal snow, visible at sunrise
- Sheshnag Parvat, Nandi Parvat, ancient Ved Vyas Cave, Kali Maa Temple
- Drive along the Kali River — forms the India–Nepal border the entire route
- Kalapani — the sacred tri-junction of India, Nepal and Tibet
- Premium: Jageshwar Dham (7th–12th century Shiva temple complex) & Kainchi Dham

Common Questions
About This Yatra
Is Adi Kailash and Om Parvat one yatra or two?
They are one combined yatra. Both peaks are visited on consecutive days from the same base at Gunji. Day 2 covers Adi Kailash darshan at Jolingkong, and Day 3 covers Om Parvat darshan from Nabhidhang. You do not need to book two separate trips.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium packages?
The Standard (5D/4N) covers the core twin darshan — Gunji, Adi Kailash, Om Parvat — with return temple stops. The Premium (7D/6N) adds a full Pithoragarh sightseeing day and a dedicated Jageshwar Dham and Kainchi Dham temple day on the return.
Is lunch included in the package?
No — lunch is not included. Breakfast and dinner (pure vegetarian) are provided from Gunji onward. You can purchase lunch from dhabas along the route.
Do I need prior trekking experience?
Moderate physical fitness is required. The yatra involves driving on mountain roads and short walks at altitude (up to 4,750 M). Prior Himalayan trekking is helpful but not mandatory. Our pace is designed for pilgrims, not athletes.
Do you handle the Inner Line Permit (ILP)?
Completely. As a native Dharchula team, ILP processing is routine for us. You only need to provide a copy of your government ID and 2 passport-size photos.
What is the best time for Om Parvat darshan?
Sunrise (5:30–7:00 AM) on a clear day gives the most dramatic view — the OM formation glows golden in the first light. September and October have the clearest skies.
